Gifted Assessments

I administer cognitive testing (e.g., WISC, WPPSI, WAIS) required in applications for many local schools that educate gifted learners. The evaluation includes an intake meeting, an individual testing session, a feedback meeting, and a written report. The cost is $650.

Psychoeducational Assessments

I conduct individualized psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations for people experiencing academic problems and those suspected of having learning differences (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD, etc.). I integrate testing data with information from parents and educators to determine a student's strengths and weaknesses, and to render a diagnosis when relevant. Results can provide evidence to support educational supports such as IEPs, 504 Plans, and private school accommodation plans. I typically charge $3250 for a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation. For clients who need only a cognitive test (e.g., WISC, WPPSI, WAIS) or just academic testing (e.g., Woodcock Johnson; WIAT), I charge $650.

Psychological, Diagnostic, and ADHD Assessments

I offer psycho-evaluations in which I help clients gain diagnostic clarity. Some clients have never been given clear diagnostic feedback by their providers, whereas others have been told many different things about what is causing their problems. Sometimes clients have a specific diagnostic question (e.g., do I have bipolar disorder?) whereas other times their concerns are more ambiguous (e.g., something is causing me interpersonal and emotional problems, but I don't understand what it is). During the assessment, I take a systematic, thorough approach towards learning about your history and current challenges. I can assess the likely contributions of various psychological diagnoses, personality/temperament characteristics, life contexts, traumas, and other events to help you more fully understand your current mental health landscape and connect with the most effective supports/interventions. The cost of these assessments vary as a function of their complexity.
